The Kings of the Past, the Present and the Future Show at Sonar in Vancouver was a pleaseant success. Lady Jane DJ witnessed the most creative, entertaining and dedicated Drag Kings in Vancouver Canada. It was great to finally see Sylvia's collaboration of Kings in a beautiful Christmas show.

Sonar was equiped with a big step up stage and see though back drop so you could see the the preparations going on back stage. The venue also included visuals on two walls. The DJ booth was set up high over the dance floor which I like because I could see everyone partying and having a good time.

Some of the themes of the individual performances included A Cowboy King, A King Greaser Couple, Rock N Roll Kings and Hip Hop Kings. Two of my favorites were Buttah and The Only Gay Escamo. I could see that Sylvia has lots of love for the community of Drag Kings in Vancouver. And the shows that she puts together I feel she does because she wants to see that comunity grow.
