The Ghetto Report Card!

Lady Jane DJ loves E-40, say "I Love E-40"! Their new album, "The Ghetto Report Card" is totally phat, in it's entirety. The first song, "Yay Area" with the Digable Planets sample, made me bounce like automatically. And after hearing the teaser song, Tell Me When To Go, on the radio for so long, I was in total satisfaction to finally have it at the click of a button. White Gurl, White Gurl, isn't about white girls, "but the shit that blow man"! My favorite song off of The Ghetto Report Card is U and Dat..."Tryin to get to you and that booty!" Lady Jane DJ loves songs about ass and booty!

The Naked Truth

The Naked Truth is the title for Lil' Kim's most recent album. Lady Jane DJ thinks that the track "We Don't Give a Fuck" is the BOMB for the organ sample in the intro and for the way it is carried through out the song. I especially like the skit where the Pimp is telling bitches "Shut Up Bitch!" I thought that was funny. My favorite song on the "The Naked Truth is "Kitty Box" because of the influence LL Cool J had on Lil' Kim for this song. "All Good" is Bomb too with Biggie's chorus, but I was really feeling Ms. Kim in "Slippin". It has an awesome intro and this song is definetly what Lil' Kim is feeling at the moment. This Seattle Hip Hop DJ has lots of Love for Lil' Kim.

LATE REGISTRATION Kanye West

Late Registration by Kanye West was released in August 2005 on the Roc-A-Fella label. What I found really interesting about the intro to this album was the realism. The first song was very calming, not what I expected. The second song, "Touch The Sky" sounded just as grand as Jay-Z's tracks. Gold Digga is a hit. The other skits through out late registration feature funny skits of Millitary marching chants through out the album. The next song literally made me want to "Drive Slow". I actually slowed down during this song.

Roses was a reality check, I love this song. Addiction was a blast from the past for me. The song that I like the most is "Diamonds" featuring Jay-Z. However, Kanye's album is a great collaboration all throughout. "Hey Mama" lyrics are some of the best in Lady Jane DJ's opinion.
