Lady Jane DJ was hyped about the Kanye West concert all week long and bumped Late Registration all the way up to Vancouver Canada. Keyshia Cole was up on stage before Kanye West.
Kanye was extreamely energetic through out all of his performance. I believe I did see Kanye bust out some B-boy moves.
The last party of the year is going down this Saturday Night! Lady Jane DJ will be throwing down the best in Urban Hip Hop into the coming year, 2006! The Kings of the Past, the Present and the Future Show at Sonar in Vancouver was a pleaseant success. Lady Jane DJ witnessed the most creative, entertaining and dedicated Drag Kings in Vancouver Canada. It was great to finally see Sylvia's collaboration of Kings in a beautiful Christmas show.
Sonar was equiped with a big step up stage and see though back drop so you could see the the preparations going on back stage. The venue also included visuals on two walls. The DJ booth was set up high over the dance floor which I like because I could see everyone partying and having a good time.
Some of the themes of the individual performances included A Cowboy King, A King Greaser Couple, Rock N Roll Kings and Hip Hop Kings. Two of my favorites were Buttah and The Only Gay Escamo. I could see that Sylvia has lots of love for the community of Drag Kings in Vancouver. And the shows that she puts together I feel she does because she wants to see that comunity grow.
This Seattle Hip Hop DJ feels honored to have been a part of The Kings of the Past, the Present and the Future Show.
Juelz Santana is this Seattle Hip Hop DJ's favorite artist of the week. One of the labels that Juelz is signed to, is also my favorite, Def Jam. Oh Yes rocks!
Lady Jane DJ must agree with Vibe when they voted him one of the sexiest rappers, because He is HOT! I especially like There It Go(The Whistle Song), it makes me feel sexy!
Lady Jane DJ will be driving up to Vancouver Canada to spin at Kings of the Past, Present and the Future, A Holiday Drag King Extravaganza at Sonar. This show will be held on Sunday, December 18th. The party is sure to rock like no other. The promoter that put this holiday festival together is the same lady that organized The Vancouver Dyke March last year and The Stillettos and Strap-Ons Brulesque Show. Sylvia made these two events a huge success for the ladies in Vancouver.
The kings that will be featured are Cazz, Edward, Joe Craig, Junior, Luke Wolf, Rayne, T and many MANY more!

The First Annual Black Pride Celebration this Friday, December 9th is a Fundraiser for the Black Pride Committee. All the proceeds will go to making Pride week for the Black Pride Committee a week to remember. This is the first Black Pride for Seattle and I Lady Jane DJ am very proud to be involved. Come and witness the begining of the the evolution of The Black Pride Committee of Seattle.

Kanye West is Lady Jane DJ's favorite Artist of the week. Kanye West is having His concerts in the West Coast though out the weekend of December 9th, 10th and 11th, 2005! He will be coming up though California, Oregon, Washington, and finally Vancouver Canada. Kanye is promoting his new album Late Registration, which features one of my favorite songs, "Gold Digga"!
Late Registration features skits of Millitary marching chants through out the album. The song that I like the most is "Diamonds" featuring Jay-Z. However, Kanye's album is a great collaboration all throughout. "Touch The Sky", "Drive Slow", and "Hey Mama" are some of the best in Lady Jane DJ's opinion.
I hope everyone got their ticket cause I know I did. Lady Jane DJ is getting her view of Kanye West from Vancouver Canada! Who would dare miss Jay-Z's protege? No me!
